MI 3290 Earth Analyser je prenosen, baterijsko ali omrežno napajan testni inštrument z izjemno IP zaščito (IP 54 za odprt kovček), namenjen meritvam ozemljitvene upornosti, specifične upornosti tal in zemeljskega potenciala različnih energetskih ter drugih objektov. Uporabnik lahko izbira med različnimi metodami, od klasične 3-žične meritve zemeljske upornosti do eno ali štirikleščne metode za meritve zemeljske upornosti stebrov. Poleg tega ima na izbiro merilne metode z različnimi frekvencami; ena frekvenca ali frekvenčni prelet od 55 Hz do 15 kHz, visoko frekvenčna metoda z 25 kHz in pulzno metodo za simulacijo udara strele. Zaradi visoke odpornosti na elektromagnetne motnje iz okolja je inštrument še posebej primeren za industrijska okolja. Instrument bo na voljo v različnih sestavih, ki so kombinacija različnih priborov in merilnih funkcij inštrumenta.
