This safety module is a production friendly safety component that does not physically impact on the actions of the operator. The goal of light curtains is to provide safety by ceasing test system operations if an object crosses a specified safety zone. The light curtains monitor if any object has breached inside the prohibition zone, if the light curtains detect a breach the safety module will disconnect the measuring circuits from the mains.
